- The local dimming is sketchy not up to the point
Verdict
The TCL 5 series may be one of the cheapest HDTV to offer excellent performance usually found on much more expensive known brand HDTV on the market today. Expect good performing quality with wide color production. With Roku as its smart user interface you can watch almost unlimited supply of online streaming video content. Although there are few downsides like the speakers are not loud enough and the local dimming is not performing well and I hope this can be fix on future firmware updates. Overall the TCL 5 Series gets good rating for the price and performance and the looks and style of this HDTV feels like it is premium or much expensive.
